God Places in the Heart of the Church the Strength to Help

In every act of service, we see the hand of God at work. The strength to get up every morning and face the immense needs of Venezuela does not come from us. It comes from the conviction that we are instruments of His love and His mercy.

"Without faith, we would have given up long ago," says Pastor David Ramos, who has been leading relief efforts in the most affected areas. "Every day we see so much pain, so much loss. But we also see miracles. We see people who had lost hope, find it again. We see families who had nothing, receive everything they need. That is not coincidence. That is God."

The Bible says that faith is the certainty of what we hope for, the conviction of what we do not see. It is that certainty that keeps us going, that motivates volunteers to travel miles, that inspires people to open their wallets and their hearts.

"We are not doing this alone. God is with us, strengthening our hands and our hearts. He gives us the strength to continue, even when we feel exhausted. He gives us the wisdom to know how to help. And He gives us the joy to see lives transformed."
