From Oregon to Venezuela: Coordinating Relief and Donations

While the ground is shaking in Venezuela, the Hope en Venezuela team in Oregon is working around the clock. From our headquarters in Portland, we coordinate with international donors, manage fundraising campaigns, and ensure that every contribution is used transparently and effectively.

"People often ask us how they can help from so far away," says John Anderson, our international relations coordinator. "The answer is: in many ways. Donations are the fuel that drives our operations. We use them to purchase supplies, fund medical missions, and support local churches who are doing the frontline work."

The team in Oregon also serves as a bridge between donors and the field, providing regular updates on how funds are being used and sharing testimonies from beneficiaries. This transparency has built trust and encouraged more people to join the cause.

"We are one team, even if we are separated by thousands of miles," adds Anderson. "Every dollar, every prayer, every act of kindness is a lifeline for our brothers and sisters in Venezuela."
